毕业于北京邮电大学，获得信号与信息处理专业工学博士学位，现任职中国移动通信集团研究院无线通信研究所。主要从事移动通信系统3G、B3G/4G的新技术研究和国际标准化工作。研究方向为下一代移动通信网络中的异构无线接入网、分布式信息处理及系统架构设计和未来4G系统中的关键技术。

Yan Zhigang received his Ph.D in signal and information processing from Beijing University of Post & Telecommunications. He serves as the research team leader in the Division of wireless technology, the Institute of China Mobile. He is mainly responsible for the key technical study in 3G, B3G/4G system and the standardization in 3GPP and IEEE 802.16. His researches interesting are heterogeneous radio access network, system architecture design, distributed information processing, and the key technology in IMT-Advanced system.
