1. Service handling

If you would like to use GPRS China Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao roaming service, please dial 1860 before you leave China mainland. Please confirm if your cell phone or “Go with E” card is covered by this service and how to open such service.

2. Service to use

Through GPRS roaming in China Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao “Go with E” card + laptop can be used to log on the internet, use www.Monternet.com and receive/send MMS. For the time being, only the network of CMCC is opened and the mobile data service provided by the operators at the roaming location cannot be used yet.

3. Service range and rate

From this website, you can search for all mobile service operators in China Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao regions which have opened GPRS roaming service with CMCC and related standard rate as well.

Since some mobile service operators have not constructed or opened GPRS network, CMCC has not entered into GPRS roaming cooperation with all GSM roaming operators. If the network you visit when you roam is not in the range of CMCC operator list in the three regions, then you need to select related network manually.

4. How to select GPRS network

In your cell phone, enter "Network Selection" on the menu and set up the "network selection method" to be "manual". When the network search is completed, then a list of available networks will be provided and from the list, subscribers can select one network with GPRS roaming service. Please note that different cell phones operate differently in network selection. Please refer to cell phone instructions for details.

If you use the GPRS internet card in laptop, then you can select through user end software. Please refer to the instructions to the related internet cards.
