**139 Service is a new service for China Mobile roaming subscribers for use when abroad and in China Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. After the user completes the registration process, the system will first call the receiver; when it is connected, the system will call the calling number. In this way, the call subsequence between the caller and the called is completed. Usually, the whole process takes about 30 seconds. This service can dramatically minimize roaming rates.

 

Customer scope

**139 service is currently available to CMCC “GoTone” customers. The customer can use the **139 service as long as they have subscribed to the international roaming function.

The service started on 20th January 2006. Please dial the 10086 customer service hotline for service coverage.

 

Advantages

The **139 service can transfer a dialing number in a roaming region to a receiving number, and the rate is charged as it is a receiving number.

By using this service, the customers’ expenses when calling domestic customers during international roaming will be significantly minimized.

 

Usage

When calling a mobile phone, dial **139*+ country code+ number to be called+ #. For example: if calling 13901234567, dial **139*8613901234567#.

When calling a fixed phone, dial **139*+ country code+ area code+ number to be called+ #. For example: if calling Beijing 66006688, dial **139*861066006688#.
