Anytime, know if messages are successfully sent

SMS receipt refers to the feedback message automatically sent by the system after the subscribers of CMCC send point-to-point SMS to friends within CMCC network, informing if the messages are successfully sent. When users receive feedback messages, they can also receive various informative messages prepared by CMCC.

Standard rate

Monthly charge of the function is 0-3 yuan and is charged by times. See the detailed rate issued by local CMCC companies.

Opening/Canceling

1. at the Service Hall

Users apply for the service in local service halls with "personal identity authorization + service code" or "personal and the user's ID card + service code".

2. by SMS

Send the instruction to 7500. Instructions of subscribing and canceling vary by regions. See the regulations issued by local CMCC companies.

3. by service hotline

Users can dial 10086 to open or cancel the service.

Notes: such service of hotlines is not available in some provinces.

4. on-line service hall

Users can visit the website of local CMCC companies to open/cancel such service.

Notes: only a part of provinces have opened on-line service hall for users.

How to use

When the service is opened, what you need to do is to send point-to-point SMS as usual and the system will automatically send back a receipt regardless if the SMS is successfully sent or not. There is no need for setup or maintenance. The received message is defaulted as flash message, which means that the content is directly displayed on the screen. If users receive multiple receipts and are not able to check them in time, then only the last message received will be displayed on the screen and some cell phones will deposit the previous messages into the inbox. Users can also send SMS "PT" to 7500 to shift the reception method to average “message” mode.

Eight provinces have opened such service, including Guangdong, Jilin, Guangxi, Shanxi, Hebei, Zhejiang, Fujian and Shannxi. Please refer to local CMCC companies for details.

Special Notice:

Currently, CMCC subscribers cannot receive message receipts sent to users outside the CMCC network.
